Finances
The fee for the initial intake session is $215 and subsequent sessions are $185, with some variation between LPA therapists. All fees are disclosed in each therapist’s informed consent documents.
Insurance
LPA therapists accept most major insurance plans. If your therapist is contracted with your insurance company, they will accept the fees negotiated and submit claims on your behalf.
We may work with Medicare Advantage provided you are not also carried on an open Medicare policy.
If you use insurance to pay for therapy, you will be responsible for copays, coinsurance, and deductibles as these apply to your plan. Contact your insurance company to confirm your mental health benefits.
Cancellation Fee
Our fee for canceling a scheduled appointment within 48 hours is $70. We provide automated reminder texts and/or emails two days in advance of an appointment to support canceling without a fee. Our clients can easily schedule, cancel, and reschedule sessions 24/7 through their personal client portal in therapyappointment.com.
